No one can tell this Louisiana native what to do. Penstemon tenius. Well suited for our humid Gulf Coast region. Flowers in late spring and late summer (in my garden apparently). This one is a must for your garden. LOVE BIG and Grow Natives.

A Spotted Beebalm that I spotted on the spot. Why do you think they call them Spotted Beebalm? 🤭 This is one of Louisiana’s native wildflowers, Monarda punctata. They are sporting their spots and lovely lavender petals.  Try to spot these love

And so it begins. It is the basis of my enamel art. First we form and then apply layers of enamel on the front and back. Not so exciting but care must be taken. For it is the foundation that all rely on.
